Directions
Mix all the dry ingredients and pass it through a sieve.
In a large mixing bowl, add the sugar and butter and whisk till creamy.
Add the eggs, and vanilla extract and whisk till a smooth mixture is formed.
Melt the dairy milk chocolate in the microwave and at 10-second intervals stir it.
Add the melted chocolate to the mixture and whisk.
Add the dry ingredients to the batter in parts, mixing gently each time.
Gently whisk till all the ingredients are incorporated.
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Grease a 7-inch springform pan with butter and line it with baking paper.
Pour in the batter and tap the baking pan gently to settle the batter.
Add hot water to your oven tray; place the baking pan in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes in the water bath.
While still in the oven, poke the cake with a thin skewer and if it comes out clean, it's done.
Remove the cake from the oven, and take it out from the springform pan.
Cool it before slicing it and store it in airtight boxes.
