2 cups full-fat milk powder
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
Chopped nuts for garnish
Grease the square dish with butter or ghee and set aside.
Make sugar syrup by combining sugar and water in a heavy-bottomed pan and heat it over medium-high heat stirring constantly until it reaches one-string consistency.
Now, in another pan, combine heavy cream and milk powder and stir continuously to leave no lumps. Stir it continuously until the mixture thickens.
Now gradually add sugar syrup to the mixture and stir continuously. Add ground cardamom for flavour and cook over medium heat until it thickens and pulls away from the sides of the pan.
Then immediately pour the mixture onto a greased tray and spread it out with a spatula. Sprinkle chopped nuts for garnish and let cool. Once set, cut it into bite-size and enjoy.
