These Gooey Bites are made from two varieties of sticky rice that become soft once steamed. The red and white rice is steamed on medium heat until it becomes cooked, puffy and sticky in texture, mildly sweet in taste and with a fresh and deep aroma. For the Recipe
- Red Sticky rice - 135 ml
- White Sticky rice - 135 ml
- Cadbury Dairy Milk - 40 ml
- Sugar - 10 ml
- Water - 50 ml
Directions
Ground the white sticky rice to fine powder and add sugar, water & mix it well.
In another bowl, add the ground red sticky rice powder, sugar, water & mix it well.
Make small round dough as per the size of your choice and steam the dough for 15 mins on medium heat and transfer it into a platter.
Melt the chocolate using a double boiler or microwave.
Drizzle the melted chocolate on the round dough and serve warm.
TIPS:
Serve the Gooey Bites while it is warm for a really gooey taste.
