For the Recipe
- 5 pieces of store bought gulab jamun
- One 100 gm bar of Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk
- 1 tbsp of rose petals
- 1 tbsp of pistachios
Directions
Arrange the gulab jamun pieces on a wire metal rack with a tray underneath to drain all of the excess syrup.
In the meantime, chop the pistachios into fine pieces.
Then chop your Cadbury Silk into fine pieces too and then transfer them into a microwave-safe bowl.
Melt the chocolate in 10-second intervals, and stir every time so you get an even melt.
Then line a tray with baking paper.
Prepare the gulab jamun by inserting tooth picks.
Dip one gulab jamun at a time in the melted chocolate till the entire surface area is covered.
Use a toothpick to carefully pick it up from the chocolate bowl and place it in the baking paper-lined tray.
Sprinkle the final product with rose petals and chopped pistachios.
Once you’re done making all the gulab jamun chocolate truffles, refrigerate them for an hour or so.
Serve them cold so that the dessert is dense with flavors and also slightly fudgy.
