For the Recipe
- Flour - 1 cup + ¼ cup
- Water - 2 tbsp + 2 tsp
- Butter - 1 tbsp
- Yeast - 1 tbsp
- Egg - ¼ cup
- Icing sugar - 1 tbsp + 2 tsp
- Salt - ½ tsp
- Butter - 1 tbsp
- Vegetable Oil - ½ cup + 3 tbsp
- Cadbury Gems - 2 tbsp
- Cadbury Dairy Milk - ¼ cup + 1 tbsp
Directions
In a bowl, add the flour, yeast, salt and mix them well.
Add an egg and water. Mix it well.
Transfer the dough to a flat surface and add butter.
Knead it for about 10-15 minutes.
Grease the bowl with butter and put in the dough.
Cover it with a cling film and let it sit at room temperature for an hour.
Roll out the dough.
Cut the dough with a doughnut cutter.
Let it rise at room temperature for 15 minutes.
Fry the dough in a low medium heat until it gets golden brown.
Melt the chocolate.
Dip the doughnut in the melted chocolate.
Add the Cadbury gems and sprinkles on top.
Alternate the dark chocolate with white chocolate for a creamier taste.
