- ½ cup of sugar
- 2 ⅓ cups of wheat flour
- 1 cup of butter
Decoration:
- 1 egg white
- ½ cup of almonds

- You can transfer the dough to a flat surface and knead it.
- Roll it out into a finger-thick long log, then cut into 5 cm sticks.
- Brush each stick with the beaten egg white and press a tablespoon's worth of crushed almonds onto them.
- Place the cookies onto the parchment paper-lined baking tray and bake until golden. This should take about 12 minutes.
- Cool on a wire rack before eating.
