Here’s how to celebrate birthday with friends: make Fruit Cobblers to Enjoy the Freshness of Seasonal Produce

A cobbler is a classic American dessert which has a generous layer of fruit like berries, peaches, or apples, topped with a biscuit-like crust. The biscuit is not the same as tea time snacks that we Indians are used to. Biscuits are basically scones, and the dough for this is dropped or "cobbled" over the fruit layer before baking. This gives the dish a very homey and rustic look. Cobblers are quite popular during the summer season because there are so many fruits like berries and stone fruits available during the warmer months. Cobblers are usually served warm, so one can enjoy the sauciness of the fruity filling along with the sponginess of the biscuits. It's also enjoyed with some cream or some ice cream. Like self saucing puddings, cobblers are also really easy to make and forgiving. This is a simple and convenient dish that can be made by cooks of all skill levels. Minimal preparation and cleaning up, no fancy technique - all of this is the USP of cobblers. You'll be in and out of the kitchen in no time. Cobblers are also budget friendly desserts because you don't need anything too fancy, even if you're thinking how to celebrate birthday with friends.
