Peanut Butter Bliss Recipe
These bars or cubes have a peanut butter filling, a crunchy Oreo crust, and a generous drizzle of melted chocolate on top.

These homemade bars or cubes (you can cut them in whatever shape and size you prefer) are made of three delicious layers — an Oreo base, a peanut butter mixture on top, and a chocolate layer above that. For the Oreo layer:
- 7 Oreos
- 1 tbsp / 15 ml unsalted butter
For the peanut layer:
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ½ cup cracker biscuit crumbs
- ½ cup peanut butter
- ¼ cups granulated sugar
For the chocolate layer:
- ¾ cup Cadbury Bournville Dark
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
For the topping:
- ⅛ cup coarsely crushed peanuts to sprinkle on the top, optional
Directions
Remove the cream from the Oreo cookies and add only the cookies to a food processor and process until fine crumbs are formed.
Line the tin with parchment paper/ baking paper so that it becomes easier to take out once it is done.
Mix melted butter and Oreos and press into baking pan evenly and freeze for about 10 minutes.
Add the peanut butter, melted butter and cracker biscuit crumbs in a bowl and blend till it becomes creamy, about 1 minute.
Gently spread the peanut butter filling into the baking dish.
Level the peanut butter filling evenly on the pan and return to freezer for about 15 minutes.
Melt the Chocolate using double boiler or the microwave, and add the peanut butter and stir until it is smooth.
Layer this Chocolate filling on top of the peanut butter in the tin, add coarsely crushed peanuts if desired and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing.
After it is set, take it out of the to, and slice it into small squares. Keep refrigerated.
