Servings
For the Recipe
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 tsp of Cadbury Cocoa Powder
- ¼ cup + 2 tbsp of whipping cream
- 3 tbsp + 1 tsp of icing sugar
- ¼ cup of Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk Oreo
Directions
Heat one cup of milk in a saucepan on medium heat.
While that heats, roughly chop your Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo Silk chocolate and drop it in the liquid.
Use a whisk to ensure even incorporation of the chocolate in the milk. Once that's done, set it aside.
Then, in a large bowl, whisk together the whipping cream and icing sugar till you get soft peaks.
Transfer the whipped cream into a piping bag.
Then, pour the hot chocolate into a mug or cup of your choice. Top it with the sweet, cloud-like whipped cream—you can add as much as you like.
Finally, dust it with Cadbury cocoa powder and some broken Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo Silk chocolate cubes, if you have any left.
Your Silken Hot Divine drink is now ready to be slurped!
TIPS:
Add ice to convert this hot drink into a cold drink.
You don't necessarily have to use a piping bag to decorate your drink with the whipping cream. A tablespoon works just fine for spooning the whipping cream on top of the drink.
If you're not confident with your piping skills or lack piping tools, using a simple spoon is a great alternative.
Enhance the taste of the chocolate by adding a teaspoon of coffee powder. This trick, commonly used by bakers for cookies and cakes, can also be used to elevate your chocolate drink.
Instead of chocolate cubes, consider using shavings of Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo Silk chocolate for decoration.
